View full Terms & Conditions Section 1 - Plan Scope 1. Plans apply to one boiler at one property only. 2. Boiler must be safe, in working order, and compliant at the start of plan unless agreed upon following inspection. 3. Only items expressly listed within each plan are covered. Section 2 - Exclusions 1. Pre-existing faults are excluded. 2. Major boiler components are excluded, including (but not limited to): PCB, heat exchanger, fan, pump, diverter valve, and gas valve. 3. System sludge, pipework and radiators are excluded. 4. External damage and freezing are excluded. Section 3 - Appointments 1. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice may incur a £50 fee. Section 4 - Plan Term & Cancellation 1. Plans have a 12-month minimum term. 2. 30 days’ notice required for cancellation. 3. Direct Debit Guarantee applies. 4. Cover begins 30 days after initial payment unless otherwise agreed following inspection. Section 5 - Labour Rates & Discounts 1. Our standard labour rate is £40 per hour. 2. Boiler care customers receive a discount on the first hour of chargeable labour per visit, depending on their plan level. 3. Labour beyond the first hour is charged at the standard rate of £40 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments. 4. Labour discounts apply once per visit and cannot be accumulated or carried forward. Section 6 - Breakdown Eligibility 1. Breakdown cover does not apply within the first 30 days of a new plan unless agreed in writing following initial inspection. 2. Boilers over 15 years old or deemed uneconomical to repair may be excluded from breakdown cover at our discretion. Section 7 - Call-Outs & Fair Usage 1. Unlimited call-outs are subject to fair usage. 2. Repeated call-outs for the same unresolved issue or non-emergency matters may be limited. 3. Emergency call-outs are limited to situations involving loss of heating, hot water, gas safety, concerns, or active leaks. 4. Emergency response does not guarantee same-day attendance. Section 8 - Response Times 1. Response times are target times and may vary during peak periods, adverse weather, or high demand. Section 9 - Parts 1. Parts costs limit for each plan apply per 12-month plan period, not per individual repair. 2. Parts availability is subject to manufacturer supply. Section 10 - Plumbing Cover 1. Plumbing cover is limited to visible, accessible pipework and fittings. 2. Excludes concealed pipework, flooring, walls, and structural access. Section 11 - Service Area 1. Plans are valid within our standard service area. 2. Locations outside this area may incur additional charges or be excluded. Section 12 - Nature of the Plan 1. This is a maintenance and service plan and does not constitute an insurance policy. Section 13 - Engineer Discretion & Safety 1. Urbex Projects Ltd reserves the right to refuse or suspend cover where a system is deemed unsafe, non-compliant, or uneconomical to repair, or where carrying out works would breach Gas Safety regulations or manufacturer guidance. Section 14 - Under Payments or Term Section 1. Priced may be reviewed annually. Any changes will be communicated in writing with at least 30 days notice. Section 15 - Complaints 1. Any complaints should be submitted in writing and will be acknowledged in 5 working days. Section 16 - Direct Debit & Payment Terms 1. All Boiler Care Plans are payable monthly via Direct Debit only. 2. By subscribing to a plan, the customer authorises Urbex Projects Ltd (or its appointed Direct Debit provider) to collect monthly payments from the nominated bank account. 3. Payments will collected on or around the agreed monthly date. 4. A minimum term of 12 months applies unless otherwise agreed in writing. 5. Missed or failed payments may result in suspension of cover until the account is brought up to date. 6. If two consecutive payments are missed, Urbex Projects Ltd reserves the right to cancel the plan. 7. Customers may cancel their plan by providing 30 days written notice after the minimum term has been completed. 8. Direct Debits are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. 9. Urbex Projects Ltd reserves the right to amend pricing upon renewal with prior written notice. Section 17 - Access & Property Conditions 1. The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the boiler and system components. 2. Cover does not include removal of boxing cupboards, flooring, or structural alterations. 3. Engineers may refuse to work where conditions are unsafe. Section 18 - Consequential Loss Exclusion 1. Urbex Projects Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including damage to property, decoration, flooring, furnishings, or loss of earnings. Section 19 - Excessive Misuse / Neglect 1. Cover does not apply where damage results from neglect, misuse, lack of servicing, sludge, corrosion, or unauthorised alterations. Section 20 - Gas & Heating Works 1. All gas works will be carried out by a gas safe registered engineer 2. Existing system condition may affect final performance and is not guaranteed unless a full system upgrade or power flush is specific. 3. Additional works required to meet current regulations may be charged separately.
